Experience Finland’s Best Team Building Day

BUILD STRONGER TEAMS BY PLAYING

Warlock Works turns the world’s best-known role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons, into a powerful tool for team development. In our custom game room, your team embarks on an adventure that blends problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

Why D&D? Because the same skills that let a band of heroes succeed in their quest—trust, communication, and courage—are the core of successful work teams too. According to Harvard professor Amy Edmondson’s research, psychological safety is the foundation of effective teamwork. And that’s exactly what shared storytelling, laughter, and low-threshold challenges create: a safe space to experiment and succeed together.

No prior experience is required. Our professional game masters guide the session from start to finish and make sure everyone—first-timers and seasoned players alike—enjoys the adventure. The result is an unforgettable experience that strengthens culture, deepens trust, and brings people together better than any PowerPoint workshop.

Step into the story. Step toward better teamwork. Legendary teamwork through play!

Why this works

A ROLE FOR EVERYONE
Everyone gets to be a hero and influence the story. Quieter voices are heard too, as everyone participates in their own way.

CREATIVE COLLABORATION
Challenges are solved together—only by trying and combining ideas do you find the way forward. This develops creativity and collaboration skills.

TRUST AND SAFETY
A shared story shows that mistakes are allowed and you can rely on others’ support. It builds psychological safety within the team.

GENUINELY FUN
Surprises, laughter, and wins make it an experience that bonds the team beyond the game itself.

Our unique game room in Vantaa at Härkähaankuja 10, right next to Vehkala station, is designed for a fully immersive, comfortable experience. It features custom-made furnishings, integrated cutting-edge technology, and thousands of miniatures. The space is made to bring imagination to life—and to bring people closer together.

BOOKING

We offer the perfect space for teams and corporate groups to build trust and develop company culture through play and fun, shared activities. Our recommended Oneshot and Premium packages are easy, turnkey options suitable for complete beginners and experienced D&D players alike. The packages’ professional, carefully selected game masters make it easy to sit down at the table and enjoy shared storytelling.

The space is designed for six players and one game master, but it also works excellently for smaller groups. You can also rent the room without a game master for your own use if, for example, your group already has a DM. The room can be booked together with HAVU’s larger gaming space on the same floor. In that case, about 20 people can enjoy themselves at the same time: some can play on PCs, PlayStation, or a simulator, while others dive into the world of D&D. The facilities also include a fully equipped kitchen. A larger event or D&D session can be crowned with the large sauna facilities upstairs.

Team

Tuomas Saikkonen

Tuomas is a passionate D&D game master and collector; Warlock Works is the result of years of dreaming, planning, and work. Tuomas has long experience leading teams—from his student days to leadership roles in business. Over the years, D&D has brought balance to a busy life and built a strong belief that playful, game-based togetherness can create psychological safety and the ability to succeed within teams. Tuomas wants to bring this possibility within reach of more organizations.

Erick Magana

Erick is a passionate D&D player who arrived in big, bustling Finland from the small and peaceful Mexico City in 2017. Wait—did we get that quite right…? Erick studied psychology in Mexico and continued in Finland with studies in peace mediation and conflict resolution. With his perspective and expertise, he has had a central role in founding Warlock Works. Erick is responsible for the company’s operations.

Miska Fredman (Dungeon Master Miska)

Miska is an award-winning role-playing game designer, cartographer, and game master whose journey with Dungeons & Dragons began in the late 1980s—and the passion hasn’t faded after 35+ years. He’s been running TTRPGs as a hobby since the late ’80s and professionally since 2024; D&D 5E and Pathfinder 2E are the most frequent at his table. In 2006, Miska released his first game, Heimot, and founded the indie publisher Ironspine Press, through which he has since created roughly half a dozen other games and several 5E adventures. He has been drawing maps for TTRPGs since 2015, with clients including industry heavyweights like Chaosium, MCDM, and Free League. When the dice are resting, Miska hits the gym, paints miniatures, and plays video games—or, as a Dungeon Master would say, gathers inspiration for the next adventure. At Warlock Works, Miska blends GMing, world-building, and clear cartography into living stories that pull teams right into the action.

Max (Dungeon Master Max)

Max is a Dungeon Master with over a decade of experience running Dungeons & Dragons—primarily 5th Edition. Since 2014, he’s guided parties through everything from gritty dark fantasy to light-hearted heroics, with D&D and Vampire: The Masquerade as his most-played systems. Easygoing and quick on his feet, Max makes sure every player finds their place—whether roleplay-driven, tactically minded, or brand new. With a background in media design and game development, he approaches each session like a designer, attentive to flow, mood, and the player experience from start to finish. When he’s not behind the screen, Max is a newly graduated designer who illustrates, plays video games, and stays active with running and the gym. At Warlock Works, Max blends flexible storytelling with sharp improvisation to create clear, engaging adventures teams remember.

STORIES

Curse of Shadowmoor

The connection between the small village of Shadowmoor and the outside world has been cut off. It’s been years since anyone has heard anything from the reclusive Blackthorn family, who rule the monster-haunted hills around Shadowmoor. The last news from the castle was grim. The link to Shadowmoor and the Blackthorn family must be restored. What could have led to years of silence? As you hurry toward the village, the heavy fog around you thickens, and you see a shadow stir.
